Alexandra Harrison, BA is a recognized expert in Professional Practice Management Plans (PPMPs), known for bringing clarity, confidence, and regulatory alignment to firms operating in highly regulated environments.

In 2024, Alexandra was hand-selected by the federal government to lead the development of a first-of-its-kind national PPMP for Environment and Climate Change Canada—a mandate that formally recognized her as a national authority in PPMP development. This plan now guides federal employees in meeting professional practice and regulatory compliance requirements.

Alexandra completes all PPMP work personally. This deliberate approach ensures she understands each client’s regulatory context in depth and remains directly available to answer questions, troubleshoot challenges, and provide clear guidance throughout the process. Clients value her ability to act as a bridge between regulators and registered firms—offering a safe, informed space to ask questions and resolve uncertainty without drawing unnecessary regulatory scrutiny.

Since founding Precision Writing in 2015, Alexandra has supported more than 40 firms across Canada in navigating their specific professional practice obligations. She maintains a 100% pass rate on all Engineers and Geoscientists BC and Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta audits.

A trained technical writer with over a decade of experience supporting architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms, Alexandra specializes in developing documentation that meets the highest standards of clarity, compliance, and professionalism. She is a member of the Society for Technical Communication and the International Association of Business Communicators, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Victoria, along with certificates in Editing and Technical Writing from Simon Fraser University.
