Precision is built on two pillars: Proposals and Professional Practice Management Plans (PPMP). Both rooted in technical clarity and practical impact.
Our story begins with Alexandra, a technical writer with a deep commitment to serving engineering firms across Canada. What started as a solo consultancy grew into a trusted partner for firms navigating complex proposals, compliance standards, and professional regulatory obligations.
Drawing on a strong foundation in engineering documentation and public procurement, Alexandra built Precision to deliver two critical services:

- Professional Practice Management Plans (PPMPs) that reflect regulatory requirements and firm-specific realities
Founded in British Columbia, we now serve clients across the country, including federal contractors, public sector organizations, and engineering teams delivering high-impact projects.

Our Leadership
Alexandra Harrison is a bid and proposal writing expert with more than a decade of experience securing work for public and private sector clients. Alexandra is a member of the Association of Proposal Management Professionals, Society for Technical Communication, and Association of International Business Communicators.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Victoria and a certificate in both editing and technical writing from Simon Fraser University. Alexandra founded Precision Writing in 2015 after working with Engineering firms in BC and Alberta. In working with these clients, Alexandra found that many firms had exceptional qualifications and passionate teams but were faltering on proposal writing – an essential element to securing projects and reaching their corporate goals.
Since then, Alexandra has dedicated herself to helping firms write better proposals – proposals that reflect her clients’ value and potential. Her work has helped her clients bring in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and increase their standing within their industry.
